The book wraps up with the final pattern “Remember there are two of you” and includes chapters Double Vision, God’s Arithmetic, and Pipelines of Grace.
Double vision begins with John 14:5 and the concept that you are not you, but you are a team of you and God. It continues with Galatians 2:20 and the concept you live for Him and He works through you. Before it wraps up with a summary of early parts of the book, it uses Galatians 5:22-23 to present the concept of His work producing the Fruits of the Spirit in your life. I think I have been so busy trying to do stuff for God that I forget that it is His work to produce and only my work to perform. I am to walk with Him, and in our walk, we live.
God’s arithmetic has numerous examples of adding and multiplying. To quote the conclusion “God has placed you on earth for a special set of tasks, which He prepared I advance for you to do.” He made us, He put us here, He put work before us, and all we have to do is follow. He adds and multiplies as only He can do.
The final chapter tells the author’s story of getting lost and his father’s work providing him a way home. We either were or are lost. Our Father has provided us a way home. We will not find it in and of ourselves. It can only be done the way He set it up, through the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our Master. If we are to Master our lives, we have to chose the right master and follow.
As I noted at the beginning of this journey, I got a lot from this book and wanted to share it. I recommend it to anyone who can read a whole book. Its a little longer than 23 blogs, but it is full of references to the one collection of 66 books that I recommend more.
