I just read all 25 blogs from Chapter 3 (across two meetings) and I find it funny how many typing errors were still in there. As my daughter said, I need an editor, but I cannot afford one.
I had hoped to develop a set of notions to wrap up with a review of the chapter. I did not. Each blog tried to stand alone, but obviously built upon what came before just as the underlying Chapter did.
I went to bed last night with the Astros in the lead, but I decided to go to sleep not knowing who won. I awoke to find they lost, spectacularly, and in a fashion that could be laid at the manager’s feet if one so desired. It reinforced my desire to not watch them play. I like repeated signs.
I had three goals for this vacation. Talk to my friend. Spend time with my wife. Write some blogs. Making progress, but too much work. Hopefully I can get away from that a little more the rest of the time.
My study of Job chapter three has been a good start. I look forward to learning more from chapter 4 as I start to write about it next. As alluded to throughout, I feel the study will not be complete until I cycle back through it all again after I wrap up Chapter 42.
God has a goal for us to mature as Christians through time spent praying, time spend studying scripture, time spent with other believers, and time spent serving non-believers. The great thing about maturing is when you realize how little you have done to date of what can be done. I want to continue to mature one day at a time and know I can keep maturing as long as allowed.
